Terms and Conditions

1. The Service
Social Cashback (the "Service") is a software platform that lets registered users earn monetary rewards ("Cashback") for engaging with promotional content of participating retailers ("Shops") on the TikTok platform. The Service is operated by Tik Joy Inc ("we", "us", "Tik Joy"), a US-incorporated company.
The Service is accessible at www.thesocialcashback.com, the user dashboard at app.tik-joy.com, the API at api.thesocialcashback.com, and through widgets embedded on participating Shops' websites.
2. Acceptance & eligibility
- By creating an account or signing in with TikTok you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the higher local age of digital majority where you reside).
- You must have full legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
- You must comply with TikTok's own Terms of Service. The Service is layered on top of TikTok and any breach of TikTok's terms is also a breach of these Terms.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and your linked TikTok account. You must notify us immediately at support@thesocialcashback.com of any unauthorized access. We may suspend any account showing signs of compromise.
4. How cashback is earned
- Login cashback — credited the first time you log in via TikTok on a participating Shop.
- Share cashback — credited when you share a Shop's content to TikTok via Share Kit and the share is verifiable.
- Engagement rewards — credited when other TikTok users like or comment on a video you posted via the Service. Verification uses the official TikTok
video.listscope on your own account, with a delta-check against the engagement counters at the time of the supporter's click. - Posting cashback — credited when you publish a promotional video about a Shop using the in-app Content Posting flow (upload-to-inbox or direct publish), subject to the Shop's campaign rules.
Cashback amounts and per-action limits are set by each Shop and shown to you before you take the action. We reserve the right to amend reward rules with prospective effect on a per-Shop basis.
5. Wallet & payouts
- Cashback accrues in your in-app wallet in EUR (or the wallet currency you select).
- You may request a payout to a verified IBAN bank account or PayPal address once your available balance reaches the Shop-defined minimum threshold.
- Payouts are processed via Stripe Global Payouts or PayPal. Processing time is typically 1–3 business days. Currency conversion fees and Stripe/PayPal transaction fees may apply and are disclosed before you confirm.
- For payouts above legally required thresholds we may request KYC documentation (ID, proof of address) under applicable anti-money-laundering law.
- Tax obligations on cashback received are your responsibility.
6. Anti-fraud and prohibited conduct
You shall not, directly or indirectly:
- Use bots, scripts, click farms, paid engagement services, mutual-engagement pods, or any artificial means to inflate engagement on Shop content;
- Operate multiple accounts to claim the same reward more than once;
- Use a single bank account or PayPal address across multiple TikTok accounts (a single payout method may be associated with at most one TikTok account and one WhatsApp account);
- Misrepresent products, make unsubstantiated claims, or post content that violates TikTok Community Guidelines;
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service;
- Use the Service in a jurisdiction where it is unlawful.
Violations result in: (i) immediate forfeiture of pending and recently credited cashback, (ii) account suspension or termination, (iii) clawback of fraudulently obtained payouts, and (iv) where applicable, referral to law enforcement.
7. Dormancy
If you do not log in for 90 consecutive days, the unwithdrawn balance in your user wallet returns to the originating Shop's wallet, in line with our published dormancy rules. We will email warnings 60, 30, 10 and 3 days before this deadline so you have ample opportunity to withdraw.
8. Refunds, disputes and chargebacks
If a Shop's payment for a campaign is disputed or charged back, related cashback that has not yet been paid out to you may be frozen pending resolution. Cashback already paid out in good faith remains yours; we will absorb the loss as TikJoy exposure (see our publicly disclosed dispute-handling policy).
9. Intellectual property
All software, designs, marks, and content of the Service are owned by Tik Joy Inc or licensed to us. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose.
Content you create and post on TikTok via the Service remains yours; you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it within the Service for analytics and verification purposes only.
10. Disclaimers regarding TikTok
Social Cashback is an independent product of Tik Joy Inc. Tik Joy Inc is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or specifically approved by TikTok Inc., TikTok Pte. Ltd., or ByteDance Ltd. "TikTok" is a trademark of its respective owner. Our use of TikTok APIs is governed by the TikTok for Developers terms.
11. Service availability & changes
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. Scheduled maintenance and unforeseen outages may temporarily prevent earning or withdrawing cashback; in such cases pending actions resume after restoration.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tik Joy Inc, its officers, employees and affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total cashback paid to you in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred euros (€100). Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Tik Joy Inc harmless from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of any third-party right (including TikTok's terms).
14. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time via /disconnect or by emailing us. We may terminate or suspend your account at our discretion in case of breach, fraud, or where required by law. On termination we will pay out any legitimately accrued and verified balance above the Shop's minimum threshold within 30 days, subject to anti-fraud review and KYC requirements.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected. Disputes shall first be addressed informally by emailing legal@thesocialcashback.com; if unresolved within 60 days, they shall be submitted to the competent courts of Delaware, USA, save where consumer law grants you the right to bring proceedings before the courts of your domicile.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email and/or in-app banner at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
